DrachenFest is a four-day medieval fantasy festival where warriors, mages, outcasts, and adventurers from across the cosmos are summoned by five great dragons to champion their cause. Each dragon represents a distinct philosophy, and those who answer the call gather into camps—alliances of like-minded individuals united by shared values and goals.
Each camp follows an Avatar, a living embodiment of their dragon, who offers guidance, quests, and spiritual leadership throughout the event.

Camps compete to earn Dragon Eggs, the symbol of victory, by engaging in:
Strategic battles and sieges
Collaborative quests and rituals
Competitive tournaments hosted by guilds
Political alliances, sabotage, and intrigue
Creative acts of worldbuilding, diplomacy, and roleplay
The camp with the most Dragon Eggs by the end of the event wins the favor of their dragon—who will shape the world for the coming year.
While the contest provides structure, DrachenFest is a sandbox. Players create their own stories, projects, and conflicts. Some will chase glory on the battlefield. Others will shape their camp’s culture, build institutions, or dive into ritual magic and ancient mysteries.
The plot is what you make of it—and everything you do adds to the living world.
