In-game Money
DrachenFest US
Last Update 8 месяцев назад
DrachenFest has its own in-game currency system. When you check in, you’ll receive three copper coins to get you started. These are physical coins used for in-character transactions. 10 copper = 1 silver, 10 silver = 1 gold.
You can purchase additional in-game coins from the on-site store at any time during the event.
In-game money can be used for things like:
Buying drinks, services, or gear from in-game enterprises in the Bazaar or your camp (e.g., taverns, blacksmiths, information brokers)
Paying for guild classes, which teach specialized roleplay abilities (like alchemy, lockpicking, or magic scroll creation)
Gambling and betting on duels, monster fights, or ridiculous dares
Hiring mercenaries, spies, performers, or ritualists
Funding a camp project or sponsoring an event
Real-world vendors (food, costume booths, etc.) only accept real money. In-game coins cannot be used to buy real goods or services from these businesses.
Q: Can I steal or loot coins from other players?
A: No, not without consent. Coins do not have loot tags, and you may not take another player’s in-game currency unless they voluntarily give or roleplay handing it over.
If you're playing a thief or bandit, you can demand coins as a toll or ransom—but the other player must agree OOG (out-of-game) to hand them over. Many players will tip a fun or dramatic mugger, but no one is required to. The best thieves make money by being entertaining, clever, or creating a fun scene—not by pressuring people.
