Sieges and Banner Capturing

How do Sieges and Banner Capturing work?

DrachenFest US

Last Update 8 месяцев назад

Each camp has a Banner, and capturing it is one of the main ways to earn Dragon Eggs during DrachenFest.

Capturing a Banner:

  • Only a Banner Carrier (designated by the camp and wearing a special belt) can move a banner.

  • Banner Carriers are immune to attacks, but they can’t fight, cast spells, or run.

  • To capture a banner, your team must siege the camp, win the battle, and have your Carrier walk it out slowly under Ref supervision.

  • You can’t drop a banner or pass it to someone else. If the Carrier is surrounded, they must surrender.

What is a Siege?

A siege is a full-scale battle where one camp attacks another’s base:

  • To start a siege, attackers must break through the front gate using a Large Monster or War Machine.

  • Once inside the courtyard, attackers must defeat or outnumber all defenders for 5 minutes.

  • Only then is the banner unanchored and capturable.

Defending Your Banner:
  • Camps can fortify their gates before the game begins. Stronger defenses take longer to break.

  • Once breached, the gate remains open until repaired (which can’t happen during a battle).

  • If your banner is captured, it can be summoned back the next morning with a ritual at your camp’s Dragon Shrine.

Sneaky Captures:

You can capture a banner without a full siege if:

  • The gate is open, and no defenders are present in the courtyard.

  • A Ref is present and approves the capture.

  • Your Carrier walks it out visibly and slowly.

Scoring:

  • 1 Dragon Egg is awarded for each enemy banner brought back to your camp and turned in to your Avatar.

  • Another Egg is awarded for each banner your camp controls at the end of war hours (9 PM daily, noon on Saturday).
