What is DrachenFest US?

DrachenFest US is a four-day immersive medieval fantasy festival and live-action roleplaying (LARP) game, where hundreds of players from across the world gather to tell stories, build communities, and compete for glory in the name of one of five powerful Dragons.

Players arrive as original fantasy characters—wizards, warriors, thieves, healers, nobles, misfits—and choose a Dragon whose ideals match their own. 

These characters join one of five themed camps, each representing a different philosophy, and work together to earn Dragon Eggs by:

• Battling in theatrical, high-stakes combat

• Solving magical mysteries and completing quests

• Competing in tournaments hosted by player-run guilds

• Creating art, performing rituals, forging alliances, and shaping the world

Everything happens in an immersive setting full of costumes, props, music, and roleplay. DrachenFest is story-first, community-driven, and powered by player creativity. Whether you’re here to fight for your Dragon, build a tavern, conduct forbidden research, or just camp with friends in a fantasy world, there’s a place for you.
